Dinner with the Dead
Sunday, November 1 5:00 p.m.
Beginning in ancient times and through the Victorian Age, friends and family gathered together to honour the dear departed at a feast known as “The Dumb Supper”. We will resume this tradition on Sunday, November 1 as we dine with our loved ones in body and in spirit. So that we may focus on those in spirit who may be near to us, this wonderful meal will be taken in complete silence.
Bring a photo or memento if you wish. When dessert is served we will break our silence. You may share experiences or not, as the ‘spirit’ moves you. You will also be invited to write a small, private note to a loved one in spirit. These will be sent symbolically into the spirit world at the end of the meal.
$50.00 per person* Reservations required. Please email gpsnet@yahoo.com or call 301-865-5500 to reserve your place.
